Description of accommodation

A detached log cabin after complete renovation brought back to the original form of log cabins typical for the Bohemian Switzerland region. The cabin is modernly furnished and equipped for your maximum comfort and is situated on the banks of the Chřibská Kamenice stream. You are occupying half of the building with its own entrance. Entrance into the hallway, from which you enter a generously spacious and bright living room with a seating on sofa bed (extra bed for 2 persons) and armchair by LED TV, a dining table for 8 persons and an open plan kitchen fully equipped with an induction cooktop, fan oven, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. A bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. A total of 3 bedrooms upstairs. First bedroom with 4 single beds and a desk with armchair. Second bedroom with a double bed and chest of drawers. Third bedroom with a double bed and chest of drawers. Another bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Space and water heating is provided by a heat pump. The living room is walk-through by a French window to a large garden with sheltered seating and portable fire pit with a grill. Outdoor parking for up to 8 cars.

Note on accommodation

One pet (small/medium sized breed) is allowed for a fee CZK 1000 per stay. A baby cot is available. Wi-Fi internet for free. Consumption of electric power will be charged to you extra on spot. Refundable deposit CZK 5000. Bedding, towels and tea cloths provided for a fee CZK 100/person/stay. Final clean-up for a fee CZK 1500. The quoted price applies to the occupancy of up 8 persons. Every other person pays extra CZK 450 per night. The cabin can accomodate up to 10 persons. The minimum lenghth of stay is 3 nights. The other half of the building with its own entrance is occupied by the landlord who fully respects your privacy and is available in case you may need him.

Location description

In northern Bohemia, in the Bohemian Switzerland national park, in a semi-secluded place outside the village of Dolní Chřibská, 28 km northeast of Děčín city. In a quiet location that offers an ideal combination of absolute privacy and the availability of all civic amenities, you will spend your holiday surrounded by unspoiled nature and serenity without having to compromise on your demands for comfort. The territory of Bohemian Switzerland, so famous for its deep gorges and sandstone formations, will delight all those who like to spend their time actively in nature, whether it being on foot, in the bike saddle or on skis. Set off to the rock formations Jetřichovické stěny (6 km), the romantic ruins of watermill Dolský mlýn (9.5 km) on the Kamenice river (filming location) or walk along the trail Gabrielina stezka (14 km) down to the famous Pravčická brána, the largest natural stone arch in mainland Europe. We also recommend visiting the private Fritsche arboretum that is open for public (9.5 km), the Indian village of Rosehill (15 km) that brings amusement to families with kids or the cave jeskyně Víl (9 km) with remarkable ice formations in winter. You can head to the valley Kyjovské údolí (9 km) on your own or with a geologist or botanist for educational tour (check www.npcs.cz for current dates). For adrenaline lovers, the area offers a bike park in Polevsko (15 km), an adrenalin park in Jedlová (11 km) and climbing routes "Kavárnička" (10 km) and "Uchem jehly" (11 km).
Distances: Basic groceries, post office, cash machine, visitor centre, minigolf and petrol station (Chřibská) 3 km, café, restaurant, kids playground and bus stop (in the village), outdoor lido (Jetřichovice) 6 km, bike rental and tennis courts (Krásná Lípa) 10 km. Woodland within 50 m.
Winter info: ski resorts (Horní Podluží) 9.5 km, (Jedlová) 11 km, (Polevsko) 15 km and ridgeline trail for cross-country skiing Lužická highway.
