Description of accommodation

Spacious modern log cabin less than 500 m from two ski resorts, situated directly by the forest, with a garden, swimming pool (in summer) and a hot tub open all year round. The interiors are cosily furnished with numerous wooden elements.
From the terrace there is an entrance to the main living room, which is equipped with a sofa, TV, dining table and a partially separate kitchenette. The kitchenette includes an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, bean-to-cup coffee maker, toaster and fridge with freezer. There is also a small separate room that serves as a pantry, and you will also find a washing machine with dryer function.
On the ground floor there is the first bedroom with a double bed and a sofa (can be converted into a double bed). In the attic there is the second and third bedroom, each with a double bed, a single bed and a table for 2-3 people. The fourth bedroom has two single beds and a table for 2 people. All bedrooms have their own bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, except for the fourth bedroom, which shares a bathroom with the third bedroom. The cottage is centrally heated and has Wi-Fi. There is a spacious garden with a fireplace, seating, portable grill, gazebo, a hot tub with year-round operation (for a fee) and an above-ground pool (only in summer). Parking is provided directly in front of the cottage.
A set of indoor and outdoor games and prepared crafts for children are available for leisure.

Note on accommodation

Pets are not allowed. A cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request. The price of the stay includes Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. Actual energy consumption is paid on site. A refundable deposit of CZK 2,000 is collected upon arrival. The hot tub is offered for CZK 2,000/week only to guests who are interested in it (the fee is not mandatory). The accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 10 people, with the possibility of two extra beds and accommodation of one baby.

Location description

In the Krkonoše Mountains, in the renowned resort of Prkenný Důl near the town of Žacléř, 14 km north of Trutnov, 27 km from Pec pod Sněžkou and 9 km from the border with Poland. The cottage is located by the forest and less than 500 m from the ski area. The accommodation is therefore ideal for a winter skiing holiday. In summer, the place is suitable for trips through the beautiful Krkonoše landscape or to the nearby Broumovsko protected landscape area. We definitely recommend a trip to our highest mountain, Sněžka, the peak of which you can climb either on one of several hiking trails or by cable car. Other attractions in the area include the Rýchorský forest nature reserve (7 km), the pre-war Stachelberg artillery fortress with a lookout tower (3 km), the unique Les Království dam (37 km) or the Krkonoše Treetop Trail (20 km).
