Description of accommodation

A newly renovated mountain chalet with a sauna providing a comfortable base for social celebrations, team buildings, sports team gatherings etc. Entrance, you go up the stairs to the 1st floor, where you have a spacious and bright common room with an open fireplace, piano, TV, hi-fi tower, sofa seating, dining tables with benches and an open plan kitchen equipped with a combined gas stove cooker and electric oven, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. Entrance to the outdoor terrace with garden armchairs. In the corridor, a reading corner with a turntable to listen to your favourite music from records. 2x bathroom with a shower and basin. 3 separate toilets. A total of 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. The first with 4x single beds, the second with 3x single beds and the third with 1x double bed and a folding sofa chair (extra bed for 1 person). On the second floor, a common room with table football and a total of 4 bedrooms. The first with a double bed, the second with a single bed, a double bed and a folding sofa chair (extra bed for 1 person), the third with a single bed, a double bed and an extra bed (180 cm) and the fourth with 8x single beds and a folding sofa chair (extra bed for 1 person). Central heating of the building is provided by a gas boiler. A room with a ping-pong table and a finnish sauna is available to guests on the ground floor. A conservatory with seating to chill out after sauna is walking-through to the garden with a cooling barrel, fire pit and seating on the decking with a gas grill. Parking for 1-2 cars (depending on size) in the garage and another 7-8 cars in the passage to the garden and possibly in the garden itself.

Note on accommodation

A pet (small breed only) allowed for a fee CZK 450/pet/stay. One baby cot available. Wi-Fi internet for free. Consumption of electric power, gas and firewood included in price. A deposit is not required. Bedding, towels and tea cloths provided for free. The final clean-up for a fee CZK 2000. Sauna for a fee CZK 600/use and CZK 10/kWh of consumed electric power. The quoted price applies to the occupancy of up 10 persons. Every other person pays extra CZK 300 per night. The chalet can accomodate up to 28 adults + 1 child up to age of 12.

Location description

In North Bohemia, in the Ore Mountains, 8 km from the border with Germany and 21 km northwest of the spa town of Karlovy Vary. The chalet is situated directly in the mountain village of Pernink with all civic amenities and the possibility of various sports activities in the immediate vicinity. At the train station in the village, which is with its 902 m.a.s.l. the second highest placed station in the Czech Republic, you can admire the railway viaduct from the end of the 19th century. On foot or by bike, you can go, for example, to the Miluščina waterfalls (5 km), past the former tin mines and the ravine Ledová jama to the Blatenský vrch lookout (3 km) or to the Pajndl stone lookout (5 km). You can experience the mining past of the entire region by visiting the Mauritius tin mine (6 km). Other points of interest in the vicinity are the educational trail of the Božídar peat bog or Jesus' path in Boží Dar (15 km), the ruins of the Freudenstein castle (14 km), the UNESCO-listed mining cultural landscape and the radon spa in the village of Jáchymov (15 km) and the spa town of Karlovy Vary (21 km) with the famous colonnade. For adrenaline lovers, the area offers a bobsleigh track in the Plešivec ski resort (4 km), a Seifert via ferrata with rental of equipment in the hotel of the same name (10 km), a trail park with a cable car in the village of Pstruží (4 km), and in the winter it delights with a large selection of ski areas in surroundings.

Winter info: cross-country skiing site and two ski resorts "Pod nádražím" and "Velflink" right in the village (within 1 km), ski resorts Plešivec (4 km), Neklid (14 km), Klínovec (18 km), etc. Excellent conditions for cross-country skiers – on the outskirts of the village you can connect to the ridge line trail Krušnohorská highway.
