Description of accommodation

The newly built wooden house in the style of a traditional South Bohemian cottage, equipped with rustic furniture and modern technologies, offers ideal accommodation for two friendly families.
You are staying in half of the cottage with its own entrance, in the other half is the apartment of the landlord, who respects your privacy and is available to you if necessary. Entrance, living room with cast iron wood-burning stove combined with oven, dining table and LCD TV, walk-through to the kitchen equipped with an induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom with a shower, toilet, basin and heating ladder. The second toilet is separate and accessible from the hallway. In the attic there are 2 separate bedrooms, each with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The building is heated by a wood-burning stove with heat distribution to the attic.
The property includes a bike shed with a hallway for storing shoes and other equipment. It has its own sheltered outdoor seating area under a pergola with a grill. The large garden with a firepit, hot tub for 8 people and solar shower is shared with the adjacent cottage JC 0041. Parking lot with an electric car charger.

In South Bohemia, in a very quiet hamlet of Kaproun, about 20 km southeast of Jindřichův Hradec. An amazing place in the heart of the "Czech Canada" nature park - a sparsely populated area of ​​ponds, deep forests, rock walkways and pilgrimage churches, which is a cycling paradise.
Just 1 km away is a romantic forest train stop on the legendary narrow-gauge railway from J. Hradec to Nová Bystřice, whose operation is gradually being restored (for current information, visit https://uzkokolejky.cz). The entire area is known for its various rock formations, such as the "Hamerské rocks" (12 km), the "Stálkov rocks" (13 km) or the granite boulder with the characteristic name "Ďáblova prdel" (Devil´s arse), which is, among other things, part of the nature trail of the "U Jakuba forest park" (9 km) with an observation tower, which will be appreciated by families with small children. The proximity of the border line with Austria and the associated turbulent past of the area are reminded by the ubiquitous military bunkers. Military history enthusiasts have created an exhibition dedicated to the topic of Czechoslovak fortifications in the "Klášter II" location (8 km) and in the "Slavonice fortress area" (20 km). For historical monuments, head to Landštejn Castle (8.5 km) and the unique neo-gothic chateau in Český Rudolec (12 km), where you can also stop at the Grasel craft beer brewery for a refreshing break. The town of Slavonice (22 km) with its renaissance historical core consisting of burgher houses with arcades and a mysterious underground accessible to the public is definitely worth a visit, as is the town of Jindřichův Hradec (20 km) with a castle, chateau and interesting museums.
