Description of accommodation

A detached wooden cottage, built in 2014, laid out as a semi-detached house with two separate units, each with two bedrooms. The cottage is rented out as a whole, so it may be ideal setup for two friendly families who want to spend their holidays together. Each unit has its own entrance through a shared veranda, a living room with a dining table, sofa bed (extra bed for 1 person), TV, wood-fired stove and open plan kitchen with an electric hob, microwave oven, kettle and fridge with freezer compartment. A bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. There are 2 bedrooms in the attic, the first with a double bed and single bed and the other one with a double bed. A maximum of 5 adults + 1 child can be accommodated in each unit. In total, the cottage is suitable for up to 10 adults and 2 children. Heating is provided by electric direct heaters and wood-fired stoves. The cottage stands on its own unfenced plot, each unit has garden furniture and a portable grill. Free parking for 2 cars in the municipal parking lot, about 50 m far from the cottage.

Up to 2 pets allowed for a fee CZK 450/pet/stay. Wi-Fi internet for free. Refundable deposit CZK 3000. Bedding, towels and tea cloths provided for free. Consumption of electric power and firewood will be charged to you extra on spot (a starter pack of briquette is for free).

Location description

In the Giant Mountains, in a recreational area on the outskirts of the village of Zlatá Olešnice, 7 km southeast of the town of Tanvald and 120 km from Prague. The border crossing with Poland is 15 km away. From the building, situated on a slope under a forest, you have a beautiful view of Zlatá Olešnice nestled in the valley and the opposite slope covered in greenery. A very attractive place for both summer and winter holidays. In the summer, you can go on mountain hikes here, the area is equally suitable for other outdoor activities and visiting sightseeings like Bozkovská cave (7 km), Jilemnice castle (20 km), Frýdštejn and Malá Skála castles (25 km), Trosky ruins of castle (30 km). The protected area of ​​outstanding beauty Český Ráj (Bohemian Paradise) is only 36 km away, here you will find the castles Kost, Hrubá Skála, the ruins of castle Valdštejn, Humprecht castle and many more.
Distances: Basic groceries and restaurants (in the village) within 500 m, supermarket (Tanvald) 7 km.
